In November 2016, the charity, Scottish Love in Action held its annual fireworks event, to coincide with the Indian Festival Diwali and the British tradition of Guy Fawkes night. Pippa designed and made a costume performed in during the parade, which was spectated by 2,500 people.
The brief was to make a costume large in scale, that embodied Diwali and would incorporate lights, so it may be seen in the dark. Pippa designed the four costumes below by drawing inspiration from the goddess Lakshmi and lotus flowers, incorporating lights into different aspects of each costume.
